He will be responsible for managing all aspects of The Plaza Resort & Spa including guest services, Magnolia’s restaurant, the Veranda Bar & Grille, Ocean Waters Spa, sales & marketing and employee satisfaction. Price’s management style will allow The Plaza Resort & Spa to solidify its identity as the premiere resort in the Daytona Beach market.
Price, a hospitality executive, has over two decades of experience with national brands such as Doubletree, Hilton, IHG & Amerisuites, along with many independent, full-service large-scale properties. Mr. Price most recently served as the Regional Director of Operations in the Daytona Beach area, handling a portfolio of 5 independents and 4 branded properties with 4 different ownership groups. A recipient of multiple brand awards and recognitions, he has been involved with and successfully overseen new acquisitions, brand conversions and ownership transitions.
Mr. Price’s tireless work ethic with the perpetual sense of urgency is sure to play a vital role in the current renovations at The Plaza Resort & Spa. Future guests as well as returning past guests will be delighted with room renovations which include new bathroom vanities and shower curtains, upgraded bedding, enhanced WiFi service and 42” flat-screen televisions.
