100% whole grain Organic Roasted Farro Couscous is a quick cooking U.S. #1 grade Emmer grain used in a variety of nutritionally balanced food products. This Ancient Grain is high in dietary fiber, protein, rich in complex B vitamins and low on the glycemic index. It is manufactured under proprietary technology by mechanically harvesting, triple cleaning, parboiling, drying, cracking and sifting to a uniform particle size. It is light reddish brown in color. There are no preservatives or additives in Organic Roasted Farro Couscous. It is Vegan and Non-GMO Project Verified. Simply add to rapidly boiling water, cook for 3 minutes, drain, let stand for another 3 minutes and fluff with a fork.
