Skin Care Institute is Oklahoma's premier medical spa, located in Tulsa.

Skin Care Institute, Tulsa’s premier medical spa, has just announced that they will now offer Vectus laser hair removal, the most advanced laser hair removal technology available today.

Skin Care Institute, Tulsa’s premier medical spa, has just announced that they will now offer Vectus laser hair removal, the most advanced laser hair removal technology available today. Vectus is superior to traditional laser hair removal devices because it offers a quicker treatment time, a significantly reduced risk of side effects (the lowest of any laser hair removal device) as well as a more comfortable laser hair removal experience. In addition, Vectus laser hair removal offers permanent hair reduction for the widest range of skin tones and types.

Due to the device’s large spot size, Skin Care Institute may be able to treat even large areas, such as the back, in as little as five minutes. The device’s uniform beam profile allows for a more thorough disabling of hair follicles, reducing the need for multiple, overlapping passes. The comfortable treatment that the Vectus device offers is due to its Advanced Contact Cooling℠, which protects the skin and keeps the typical sting of laser hair removal at bay. Vectus also offers an integrated Skintel™ Melanin Reader™, the only FDA-cleared melanin reader, which offers hair removal treatments tailored to each client's skin type, tone and ethnicity.

“We are always seeking to enhance patient comfort and safety,” said Dr. Jeff Alexander, Skin Care Institute’s Medical Director and board-certified dermatologist. “The new Vectus laser hair removal device allows us to provide better, quicker results, as well as offer our patients the least painful and most effective laser hair removal experience in Tulsa.”
