Intelex Ranks on Canada’s 50 Best Small and Medium Employers List
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- Intelex Technologies, a leader in environment, health, safety (EHS) and quality management software, is pleased to be named today one of Canada’s 50 Best Small and Medium Employers (BSME) for 2014. This is the second year Intelex has participated in the Aon Hewitt and Queen’s University’s study, and the second time Intelex has made the top 50 list.
Intelex is one of only 11 Toronto businesses included in the ranking, which was facilitated by Queen’s School of Business and AON Hewitt, an international HR consulting firm.
“It is an honour to win an exclusive national award like the Top 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada, as it is an acknowledgement of our dedication to the highest level of corporate culture,” said Mark Jaine, Intelex president and CEO. “Intelex continuously works to build and improve our organization and the BSME study plays an integral role in helping us to gather valuable feedback from our staff, allowing us to continue being one of the top employers in Canada.”
A key metric of the ranking is determined by the confidential, companywide Employee Opinion Surveys. The evaluation also includes the analysis of organizational practices and perspectives provided by the leadership team. Intelex’s ranking reflects the degree to which the company’s team is engaged in the work of the organization and its clients.
“We make a conscious effort to ensure Intelex is the best employer in all aspects of the organization, from our recruitment model, development programs and employee growth all in sight of demonstrating our commitment to leading edge practices,” said Mary Ann Dunlop, Vice President of HR. “The BSME survey results assist us in further developing our efforts to ensure our employees live our values, support our culture, and share our success as members of the Intelex family.”
Becoming a Best Small and Medium Employer is a very detailed and competitive process. This national awards program recognizes top employers with between 50 and 399 employees. The program mirrors the renowned Best Employer in Canada list published in Maclean’s Magazine; however, caters to smaller businesses. Study partners include Queen's School of Business, Queen’s Centre for Business Venturing and AON Hewitt.
