MyLooks® Inc. Achieves AAAASF Accreditation at all Clinics in South Florida
Florida (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- MyLooks® Inc., a company dedicated to providing high-quality care for cosmetic surgery patients, has achieved what is considered to be the Gold Standard certification for all of its MyLooks® clinics. To assure consumers of best safety practices, MyLooks® sought out accreditation by The American Association of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities [AAAASF] for all its clinics.
MyLooks® currently operates five clinics across Florida in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando and St. Petersburg. Certification by the AAAASF provides MyLooks® clinics with state and national recognition for patient safety and quality care standards with medical health agencies, surgeons, legislators and consumers.

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc., was established in 1980 to standardize and improve the overall quality of independent medical and surgical care in facilities to assure the public of safety. Clinics must undergo extensive ongoing inspections by medical professionals and peer review prior to receiving accreditation and also maintain their accreditation on a yearly basis.
Surgical facilities must provide the following to patients in an office-based setting to achieve this desired status:
• Surgeons must have hospital privileges for any surgery that is performed.
• Clinics must use Anesthesia professionals for deeper levels of anesthesia.
• Clinics must meet specific standards to provide a safe surgical environment.
• Holds office-based setting to hospital standards.
• Clinics must submit to peer review and track data covering all procedures.
In conjunction with the AAAASF, MyLooks® plans to develop standards of excellence to ensure consumers of quality care and safety during their plastic surgery experience.
