New Lawsuit on Alleged NuvaRing Pulmonary Embolism: Now, AttorneyOne Can Provide Advice
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- AttorneyOne.com, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and they are now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on NuvaRing lawsuits and potential NuvaRing Recall lawsuit.
On September 26, a new lawsuit was filed by a woman in Nebraska District Court (case no. 8:2013cv00301) alleging that she suffered pulmonary embolism from her NuvaRing. NuvaRing is a popular internal birth control device, a vaginal ring placed near the cervix that was approved by the FDA in 2001. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she began using Nuvaring in 2007 and, four years later, a CT scan revealed the presence of pulmonary embolism.
As the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation informed, on October 17 there were 1,421 cases pending in the NuvaRing Multidistrict Litigation (MDL No. 1964, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri). All of the lawsuits concern similar allegations that blood clots from Nuva Ring caused women to suffer injuries including pulmonary embolism, stroke, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or sudden death.
Taking into consideration the latest developments, AttorneyOne.com updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in cases of severe complications, allegedly from NuvaRing. Sean Burke, director of Media Relations at AttorneyOne.com, adds that the relevant information illustrates that people continue to file NuvaRing lawsuits. "For that reason", he continues, "our focus should squarely fall on getting the word out and assisting people in finding the right legal assistance.”
Court data indicate that a bellwether trial in the NuvaRing Multidistrict Litigation was scheduled to begin on October 21 (case no. 4:2008cv00558, Missouri Eastern District Court). In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she started using NuvaRing in 2003 and, a few weeks after, she suffered from deep vein thrombosis in her left leg and multiple pulmonary emboli in the lungs.
AttorneyOne.com has further information on NuvaRing lawsuits including how to get in contact with legal counsel.
