Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- Giving back to the community where we work and live is a deeply held value at GoSection8. On Friday, November 1st, GoSection8 closed its doors to serve to the community. The office toured His Caring Place which is a licensed teen maternity program that offers guidance to young women struggling with crisis pregnancies. Tom Lukasik, Vice President of Community Engagement guided the tour of the seven-bedroom maternity home. “The issue of unwanted pregnancy is at a crisis level in South Florida, and in fact, the world today. Over the last twenty years, His Caring Place has provided for the needs of several hundred young pregnant women from all over the country,” he said.
That afternoon, the staff visited an independent living girl’s home sponsored by 4KIDS Spirit of Success Institute (SOSI). After the tour, the entire staff donned their cleaning gloves and did a top to bottom cleaning of a Foster family's home, which provides long-term residential support to young adults, who are "aging out" of foster care. 4KIDS Success Institute provides much more than just a “safety net” to young adults, who might otherwise end up homeless, unemployed, or in prison. The young adults of SOSI receive an array of services and support that picks up where foster care left off. Vice President of GoSection8, Frank Gualtieri said, “Here at Go8, service is one of our core values and everyone on this team shares that value. We always look forward to these opportunities; being able to make a difference in something aside from what we do on a day to day basis is very important to me and the others on our team.”
