Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) November 09, 2013 -- Available today; Theremin I/O turns your iPhone into a touchless music instrument.
Theremin I/O uses your iPhone's camera and flash in a new and creative way to generate sound and melody. It works by using the camera to measure light that is reflected from patterns made with your hand - similar to how you would use a real Theremin.
The application can be used either as a standalone music instrument or as a MIDI controller - allowing the user to control just about anything by waving their hands in the air. Create melodies on the fly or connect it to Traktor or Ableton, enabling it as a powerful midi instrument.
Theremin I/O is available worldwide today for an introductory price of $1.99 and will be priced accordingly in other regions. The MIDI upgrade is available as an In-App Purchase and priced at $8.99.
Theremin I/O was developed by Johan Nordberg - creator of the popular Seismometer iPhone app - and Giosuè Russo - Italian musician and designer.
