Air Ambulance Company's My Real Life Moment™ Returns
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) November 07, 2013 -- Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance marks the return of its Emmy-winning patient story video series My Real Life Moment™ with today's release of "The Selester Rowe Story."
The poignant video tells the story of Selester "Les" Rowe, a homeless man in San Francisco who was critically injured by a hit-and-run driver. Rowe undergoes a year of rehabilitation in the Bay Area but his family wants him closer to home in Columbus, Ga. Viewers will see how those dearest to him organize a community-wide fundraising effort to pave the way for Rowe's flight home on an Angel MedFlight air ambulance.
Rowe, 63, was an architectural engineer who studied at Tuskegee University before falling on hard times. The fundraising effort was spearheaded by former San Francisco 49ers draft pick James "Monk" Johnson, who attended the same high school with Rowe and wanted to help out.
The video is being released today on the Angel MedFlight website, YouTube and Facebook.
