CDS Vending Inc. announces new program to provide vending and food services best practices training and counseling to U.S. active duty service members and veterans that are transitioning out of the military.

CDS Vending is launching with this effort the CDS Vending & Food Service Academy which aims to offer America's veterans the opportunity for new careers in the stable, growing vending, food and beverage industry.

"The United States of America's service members are extremely well trained and have the drive, self-discipline and skills that are essential for the food service industry" said CDS Vending President & CEO, Carl D. Shepard, a United States Navy veteran.

The CDS Vending & Food Services Academy consists of a 4 week course designed to make them aware and prepare U.S. service members and veterans for entrepreneurial and employment opportunities. Veterans obtain knowledge necessary to access and consider a career in the vending, food and beverage industry.

This effort is a direct reflection of the leadership and passion that CDS Vending Inc. has for supporting and aiding America's veterans says Jacob R. Miles, Chief Strategy Officer
