N.L.P’s patent pending ColdSmoke Platform provides the ability to map naturally spoken language to web based features and content. Company President Yada Schneider says, “The ColdSmoke Platform will enable companies that use web technology the ability to provide a voice user interface. We have demonstrated this technology with the launch of 'her'."
The "her” mobile application provides users the ability to: store and retrieve personal data, shop at Amazon.com, purchase flights, book restaurant reservations, translate from English to a multiple of languages, find the locations of places, and retrieve web based content such as search. According to Yada Schneider, “The 'her' applications demonstrates the power of mapping natural language to web based features and content by giving users the ability to access useful content via a voice user interface”. Mr. Schneider goes on to say, “These are the things people do online, book travel, shop, etc and the 'her' application allows them to do this with their voice on a mobile device.”
“her” is available for free on both Apple’s App Store and Google Play
