Australia Salt Lake Potash Announces Drilling of Lake Wells Project in Western Australia

Drilling and brine sample analysis program to further define the potential for Sulphate of Potash (SOP) recovery from the lake brines and support a maiden SOP resource estimate.

Drilling follows expert evaluation of potential SOP recovery from lake brines.

Australia Salt lake Potash Pty Ltd, a private potash exploration and development company (the “Company”), announced today that an exploration drilling and analysis program at its priority Lake Wells Project (“Project”) in Western Australia is scheduled to commence in the second half of November 2013, subject to weather conditions. The current granted exploration licenses cover an area of 390 An adjoining pending license is expected to be granted in coming weeks bringing total exploration license area to 522, providing 100% coverage of Lake Wells.

Jason Baverstock, Executive Director & CEO said, "We are pleased to report that following earlier reconnaissance work, pit sampling and expert evaluation of the potential for recovery of Sulphate of Potash (SOP) from the lake brines this drilling and brine sample analysis program will provide us with the opportunity to define the stratigraphy of the sediments and support our efforts in the preparation of a maiden (JORC) Inferred resource estimate of the Project, which is expected to be available in January 2014."
