Snakes in a Wisconsin Tavern: Dan Nedrelo to Speak on the Natural History and Conservation Biology of Reptiles and Amphibians at the Learners' Lounge
Menomonie, WI (PRWEB) November 11, 2013 -- Snakes, turtles, lizards, frogs, and more will be on tap at this Thursday’s Learners’ Lounge. Dan Nedrelo's live animal demonstrations have delighted audiences in schools and nature centers for over 25 years. Nedrelo is a herpetologist, educator, and professional wildlife photographer based in Viroqua, Wisconsin. His Learners' Lounge visit is a rare opportunity to experience snakes in the friendly atmosphere of your neighborhood tavern.
"What’s remarkable about Dan is how he goes about helping adults and children learn about – and feel comfortable around – his slithery companions," said Dr. Mark Leach, author of "Positive Participation with Nature."
The Learners’ Lounge is a series of educational presentations held at The Raw Deal, which features craft beer, fine wine, fresh juices, and vegetarian/vegan food.
