Casey Williams, Vice President of Direct Healthcare Sales at RevSpring, recently presented two educational sessions on the impact revenue cycle interactions can have on the patient experience.

As healthcare systems strategize upgrades to their RCM processes in 2014, it is clear that they will have to account for the effects, positive or negative, of new technologies and solutions on the patient experience – especially as patient satisfaction becomes a key element of government reimbursement formulas.

Williams’s presentation, titled, “The Patient Experience, Your Revenue Cycle, and Loving What You Do” sheds light on specific revenue cycle processes that can affect a patient’s overall healthcare experience and the financial implications to the health system. The presentation was given at educational events sponsored by Region 2 of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Medical Resources Group.
