Window Genie of Charlotte Donates Window Cleaning to Richards Coffee Shop
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- Window Genie of Charlotte will be at Richard's Coffee Shop on Wednesday November 13th at 10 a.m. to perform a donated window cleaning. Richards Coffee Shop also serves as a small military museum with the mission: "To ensure the memory of, and support to, those who serve through Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum at Richard's Coffee Shop". Richard's Coffee Shop is located at 165 N. Main Street in Mooresville.
Window Genie of Charlotte has been performing free window cleanings for local veterans at their homes since May. "It's the least we can do to say thank you," said Peter Cogan, owner of Window Genie Charlotte. "My team and I have had such a good time doing it, we don't plan to stop anytime soon." Cogan's technicians are veterans themselves.
Cogan heard about Richard's Coffee Shop through local veteran, Raphael D'Ausilio. Raphael was the first veteran to receive a cleaning from Window Genie as a part of Cogans. "Cleaning the homes of those who protect ours" program. Cogan said, "Raphael has been such great help throughout this whole process, he's really given me more than I was able to give him. He's referred me to all the right people so my team and I can continue to find opportunities to interact with the community and give back."
