Streamlining paper-based and digital processes onto one platform provides a huge advantage for customers.

Leading technology services and outsourcing partner for global companies, YASH Technologies, today announced its partnership with Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc. (CIIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., as a systems integrator for Canon’s Enterprise Imaging Platform (EIP). By partnering with CIIS, YASH will deploy EIP to customers to enable users to automate document and image-related business processes, and integrate them with enterprise applications.

EIP is an innovative middleware platform that provides a rich set of input and output document creation, capture and processing services that integrate a variety of enterprise applications to automate business processes. EIP streamlines both electronic and paper-based document procedures into one system where users have easy access to the latest information – and organizations have the ability to share data across multiple applications, instantly.

“Paper-based processes are evident in almost every industry,” comments Amit Bhutra, vice president, YASH Technologies. “Streamlining paper-based and digital processes onto one platform provides a huge advantage for customers. The ability to share data across multiple applications delivers efficient and accurate business workflows and subsequent cost reductions.”

As an Oracle Platinum partner, YASH Technologies is well positioned to integrate EIP with Oracle solutions such as JD Edwards as EIP received validated integration with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1. EIP integration with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 enables customers to manage business processes that require integration of information from paper and digital documents. Specifically, the integration focuses on the following business processes:

  •     Automated invoice processing (accounts payable)
  •     Automated sales and order processing (accounts receivable)
  •     Automated customer billing (accounts receivable)

“Canon is proud to collaborate with top technology and service providers, like YASH Technologies, to increase the efficiency and reduce the burden created by complex business processes,” said Satoshi Nagata, president, Canon Information and Imaging Solutions. “Integration of EIP helps companies generate new business value and opportunities by taking advantage of the information previously scattered across various back-end systems or buried in paper and digital documents.”

EIP streamlines a variety of business processes, automatically capturing, processing, classifying and indexing data. The platform uses this information to update various enterprise applications, as well as produce professional documents such as contracts, expense reports, applications and forms.
