Our demonstration in Washington this week serves to tell every independent advisor that they may be next on the chopping block and when they are they will have little to no recourse.
Washington, D.C (PRWEB) November 11, 2013
Dozens of protesters coming from far and wide descended on the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Washington DC on Monday to protest Charles Schwab & Co’s (SCHW) policy of terminating Independent Advisors. The protest is planned to take place in the mornings between 7am and 10am until Wednesday.
“This is bad business, pure and simple. Our demonstration in Washington this week serves to tell every independent advisor that anyone can be impacted by these unfair policies,” said Airgead Clann Advisor Michael Kelly.
“I will be in Washington DC until the end of the IMPACT Conference to protest. It reminds me of the 60’s, at least a little, in that it is about transparency, about honesty. And I will be on the sidewalk exercising my first amendment rights”.
The protest will take place outside the main entrance of the Walter E Washington Convention Center.
