Auberle to Host Annual Meeting Honoring Community Partners
McKeesport, PA (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- Auberle will hold the public portion of the organization’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Board Member Bishop David A. Zubik will be in attendance. Auberle Board Directors, clients, stakeholders, funders, neighbors and community members will attend to hear Auberle’s annual report to the community, review agency accomplishments of the year and recognize high-performing staff and programs. Auberle will recognize two community partners, Quest Diagnostics and Duquesne Light, for their gifts of time, talent and treasure. Duquesne Light has been committed to Auberle’s workforce development program, The Employment Institute for several years. Quest Diagnostics has invested in essential programming and has mobilized dozens of volunteers.

Since 1952, Auberle has been dedicated to community, strong families and successful youth. Auberle serves over 3,000 at-risk children and families annually in eight counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. Today, we offer 16 programs including preventative and community-based services, with 60% of our clients served in their home, school or in their community. Auberle’s services include residential care, foster care, emergency shelter, in-home intervention, education, workforce development, drug and alcohol and mental health programs. Auberle is a recipient of the Wishart Award for Excellence in Non-Profit Management and was named Agency of the Year in the United States by the Alliance for Children and Families, the largest network of human services organizations in the United States.
