Maritime Program Group Introduces New Marine Artisan Contractor Program

“MPG's Marine Artisan Contractor program is scalable and comes in two policy options, basic and preferred,” said Dana Downes, MPG’s VP of Recreational Marine. “This gives our brokers the flexibility to offer a product that best fits the needs of their insured.”
Both the basic and preferred package make available on a single policy the following coverage: Marine General Liability, Marina Operators Legal Liability, Protection & Indemnity, Tools & Equipment, Sudden & Accidental Pollution and Owned Watercraft.
The basic policy offers a single combined limit with defense costs inside the limit of liability. The preferred option provides for separate individual limits and defense costs outside the limits of liability.
MPG can also offer coverage for a bumbershoot (umbrella), commercial auto and property on a separate policy(s). Coverage is underwritten in-house by MPG and written on admitted North American Specialty Paper. (A+ rated, A Division of Swiss Re). Minimum premiums start at 0$1,000 for the basic policy and $1,500 for the preferred option.
