The "Leading Edge" Series with Jimmy Johnson Announces New Segments on Charter Plane Travel
(PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- The charter plane travel segment is an important part of the aviation industry, generating more than $14 billion in annual revenue and employing 60,000 individuals. While enduring a downturn during the recent economic malaise, the signs are clear that passengers are returning to this important market. While 60 percent of the revenue in charter plane use is domestic passenger traffic, it also serves international destinations and carries time-sensitive and high-value cargo.
Many customers of charter plane service see it as a necessity. For others, it is the height of luxury that includes stylish lounges, private limousines, and fine food service provided en route.
As a part of his continuing effort to shed light on important and timely cultural and business issues, host Jimmy Johnson acts as host of programs that go into the role charter plane travel plays in our economy and business operations. From safety to financial factors, this series will allow viewers to understand that segment of the aviation industry that doesn't involve take off shoes or waiting in long TSA lines to get to a destination in style.
The acclaimed "Leading Edge" series with host Jimmy Johnson is provided to Public Television stations throughout the United States and is not delivered through PBS.
