PM Group Appoint Asite for Guinness St James Gate Brewery Project, Dublin
London, United Kingdom (PRWEB UK) 13 November 2013 -- Asite are pleased to announce their appointment by PM Group for the Guinness St James Gate Brewery Project. This is a Landmark project for Asite and the PM Group to develop this iconic world- famous Irish site.
Diageo knows that sustainability and investment are key to long-term success, with this in mind; Diageo has made a €168 million investment in the St James's Gate Brewery which will consolidate all brewing by Diageo in Ireland at Victoria Quay, St James's Gate. On completion, St. James's Gate will be one of the most technologically advanced, environmentally sustainable breweries in the world. This is one of the largest construction projects to take place in Dublin in recent years, and has created 300 construction jobs.
Following the successful use of Asite on Diageo’s US Virgin Island distillery project it was only natural for the key stakeholders to select Adoddle to deliver the document and project management aspect on the St James Brewery project.
Asite is streamlining the communication process between the whole project team from the client (Diageo) to the project manager (PM group) to the design team and contractors (construction and process contractors).
Sharing of real time project information is leading to reduced approval times for all project documentation including effective and timely resolution of any project queries or communications.
Project commenced June 2012 and is set to finish June 2014 – With well in excess of 10,000 documents and approx. 300 current users.
Tony Ryan CEO Asite;
“Asite are delighted to be involved on this Project with the PM Group. Having worked on previous successful projects such as the Aviva Stadium, to participate on this Iconic world landmark is close to my heart as a native Dubliner! “
