London, UK (PRWEB UK) 14 November 2013 -- GSM London have reinforced their dedication to their Law undergraduates by hosting a special 90-minute event at their Greenwich campus featuring guest speakers from within the industry.
GSM London provide an abundance of resources for all students and have created a syllabus that features information designed to provide its intake with up-to-date industry knowledge, and this strong career focus is instilled across all of their degree programmes.
The latest event put on by the higher education institution is the most recent in a series of moves to increase the quality of study offered within their Law department, with other steps including a dedicated GSM Twitter page offering specialised information and advice on this highly competitive professional sector.
The event saw two guest speakers, Peter Donaldson and Gerard Franks, address a captivated audience of over 80 GSM Law undergraduates on the subject of the magistrates system in England and Northern Ireland. Listening to speakers with extensive experience in the industry, the students gained a true-to-life account of the issues magistrates face in today’s legal climate.
Students were so enthralled by the event that many questions were asked at the end, providing a unique opportunity to find out more about what the magistrates system is like today, with the speakers answering queries on topics such as what the most difficult parts of their job are.
GSM London offers two law-based courses at their Greenwich campus; both have a heavy focus on career opportunities and provide their students with a working knowledge of the variety of careers paths that are open to them, as well as the skills needed to maximise their employability.
