Capio Partners is pleased to announce a strategic addition to its executive leadership team. Effective today, Lyman Sornberger has joined Capio as its Chief Healthcare Strategy Officer.
Mr. Sornberger comes to Capio from his own healthcare consulting company, LGS HealthCare Strategies. Prior to this, Mr. Sornberger served as the Executive Director of Patient Financial Services for The Cleveland Clinic Health System. Before arriving at Cleveland Clinic in 2006, Mr. Sornberger spent twenty-two years in revenue cycle management with the University of Pittsburg Medical Center (UPMC). Mr. Sornberger has authored numerous articles for HFMA, AAHAM, and other leaders in the revenue cycle arena, and is a frequent speaker on the healthcare revenue cycle conference circuit.
