Linked 2 Leadership and Weaving Influence Announce Partnership

The burgeoning field of leadership development has proven to be an exciting mix of ideas and disciplines. Professionals, students, and thought leaders will have the opportunity to benefit from one another’s expertise through a new partnership between two of the field’s top organizations: Linked 2 Leadership and Weaving Influence. The partnership is establishing a deep pool of subject-matter experts to evaluate and review new books and other types of content.

“Partnering with Weaving Influence is the perfect way to help L2L with their promise of providing the best, most respected content to help our audience and group members grow personally, professionally and organizationally,” said Linked 2 Leadership Executive Director Tom Schulte in announcing the partnership.

Weaving Influence founder and CEO Becky Robinson was equally enthused. “Our team works with authors and thought leaders to grow their influence and market their writing throughout the leadership and business communities. Collaboration with the huge professional network at L2L helps us extend that reach into new areas and give us access to new audiences for their work,” she said.

The Linked 2 Leadership group on LinkedIn totals more than 25,000 members. More than 300 of that group have already been accepted as contributing authors on the group’s popular blog, the Leadership Collaboratory, with additional applications under evaluation. “Applicants are accepted based on professional credentials, experience, and ability to write well,” said Schulte.

Under the new partnership, Weaving Influence will provide these contributing authors with access to review copies of new book titles, articles, and other current content. Reviewers will work within Linked 2 Leadership’s trademarked format for L2L book reviews, allowing them to focus on the subject matter and treatment of topics within their field of expertise.
