Rhode Island Novelty (RINCO), the nation’s largest supplier of amusement toys and novelties to both businesses and consumers, and Nickelodeon, announced today the multi-year renewal of their licensing partnership to develop novelty products based on the network’s leading preschool and hit animated series. Under the agreement, Rhode Island Novelty will develop plush toys and vinyl inflatable products featuring hit preschool series, Bubble Guppies and the CG-animated series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The new line will be on display on November 19 during the 2013 IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando Florida.

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premiered September 2012 and was an instant hit, drawing almost 12 million viewers during its premiere weekend and closed the year as the number-one new series for boys. The action-packed crime fighting adventures of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo continue in season two, airing regularly on Nickelodeon, Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. ET/PT.

The Emmy Award-winning Bubble Guppies series is a musical comedy set in a 3D underwater environment that follows a group of diverse preschoolers with fish tails. In each episode, the characters lead the learning process, discovering something of interest on their way to school and exploring that theme from a variety of angles.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Bubble Guppies joins Rhode Island Novelty’s catalogue of licensed Nickelodeon products including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Team Umizoomi, and Invader Zim.

"Rhode Island Novelty has been an incredible partner, and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with them. Our new line of products, sold exclusively at amusement parks and redemption centers, truly adapts the fun spirit of our series in a whole new way," said Manuel Torres, Senior Vice President, Global Toys and Publishing, Nickelodeon Consumer Products Group.

“Rhode Island Novelty is proud to be partnering again with Nickelodeon to produce Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Bubble Guppies plush items,” said Bob Nowak, Rhode Island Novelty CEO and President. “This partnership represents a major milestone in Rhode Island Novelty’s strategy to expand our licensed products.”
