US Property, a management company with more than 600,000 square feet of commercial space and 300 residential units in Nebraska, was looking for an integrated property management software solution that would enable them to go paperless while offering flexible, robust reporting capabilities. Although they evaluated multiple companies, MRI Software’s highly configurable products and comprehensive support system emerged as the ideal solution.

To improve its customer experience, US Property will employ MRI Tenant Connect and MRI Resident Connect, two industry-specific portals that delivers online self-service capabilities that empowers its customers to complete key account management functions. Both the residential and commercial portals allow users to pay rent and fees, view real-time statements and account balances, and submit and view the status of maintenance requests. The solutions also permit property managers to send email communications and newsletters to their entire client network, ensuring tenants and residents are up to date with any important updates.

“MRI’s ability to pull tailored reports and easily analyze financial data are key strengths of our software,” said Ron Kolz, Chief Sales Officer at MRI Software. “When coupled with improved client communications and conveniences, US Property will be well positioned to increase their tenant satisfaction and their overall operational performance.”

US Property will additionally utilize both MRI Commercial Management and MRI Residential Management, two completely integrated property management software solutions with robust, configurable reporting capabilities and automated workflow processes. The software acts as the foundation for the rest of the MRI products, and is designed to be flexible enough to meet the unique needs of each client and to maximize the profitability of a business’s investments and operations. Automation capabilities reduce administrative workloads and ensure accurate data transfer between integrated systems. In fact, by analyzing and providing precise information, the entire array of MRI solutions is able to provide a consistent and accurate view of performance, allowing for better informed business decisions

About US Property
In 1999, Monte and Lisa Froehlich purchased K & C Management, a real estate management company that was founded in 1970 by Karl Witt. The name of this company was changed to eliminate the assumed relationship with Kansas City and the scope of services expanded. In May 2005, U.S. Property moved its headquarters from a residential area to downtown Lincoln in order to allow the company to grow, to establish a commercial presence in the community, and to highlight our ability to develop and manage mixed-use property. Today, U.S. Property manages 300 residential units in Nebraska and more than 600,000 square feet of commercial space. U.S. Property is actively developing both industrial and mixed-use commercial properties in the Lincoln area. U.S. Property also operates HomeBase Storage and the Grand Manse Events and Lodging business.
