PDC to Unveil New ID Lanyards for Theme Park Personnel at the 2013 IAAPA Expo
Valencia, CA (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- PDC, the global leader of innovative identification solutions, will unveil its latest RFID and other ID products at the 2013 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo in booth #2658 from Nov. 18 to 22, in Orlando, FL. IAAPA is the largest international trade association for permanently situated amusement facilities worldwide.
At IAAPA, PDC will debut its new line of ID lanyards and badge holders for theme park personnel and visitors. PDC’s ID lanyards provide a secure and highly-visible solution for displaying ID badges and keys to help visitors quickly identify theme park employees. The ID lanyards are available in a variety of styles – from standard to premium – and can be customized with text, graphics and logos so park management can offer branded lanyards in gift shops for their guests.
"PDC’s custom ID lanyards are an ideal solution for park personnel who carry RFID cards for timekeeping, access control and security purposes," said Robin Barber, vice president of leisure & entertainment for PDC. "Employees who wear ID credentials on matching lanyards are easy to spot so visitors know who they can ask for assistance locating attractions, dining terraces, restrooms and more."
ID lanyards join PDC’s popular line of wristband solutions at IAAPA including bar code, holographic, plastic, silicone, thermal, Tyvek®, vinyl and woven styles. Attendees who visit the booth will have the opportunity to participate in a live demonstration of PDC’s popular RFID wristband systems including the PDC Smart® Wristband Kiosk that prints and dispenses RFID-enabled wristbands for access control, keyless locker entry, keyless hotel room entry and cashless point-of-sale.
Booth visitors will also have a chance to win their share of $3,500 in wristbands by completing a brief questionnaire. Three winners will be selected and announced by December 6, on PDC’s Facebook page. The grand prize winner will receive $2,000 in wristbands for their facility, followed by $1,000 for second prize, and $500 for third prize.
