EntirelyPets Scholarship Program Now Accepting Applications
Union City, CA (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- EntirelyPets announced today that it is now offering an academic scholarship available to college students who are pet owners and who have been positively impacted by pet ownership.
EntirelyPets is a leading supplier of online pet supplies and pet medications, based in Union City. Their guiding mission is to improve the quality of life of pets and pet owners, and the new scholarship is aimed at helping college students and graduating high school seniors with paying for the costs of college.
The scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students attending school in the US. Students can apply for the scholarship by writing an essay answering the question "How has owning a pet positively impacted your life?" There will be three winners selected for the contest, and winning entries will be showcased on the company’s website.
The scholarship program is a continuation of EntirelyPets’ commitment to giving back to the community. EntirelyPets is part of a number of pet organizations, and donates to dozens of pet charities every year.
"We are very excited to be launching this scholarship program," said David Clarkson, Community Manager at EntirelyPets. "The costs of getting a good education have skyrocketed in recent years, and we want to do our part to help students get through college, and support pet lovers and pet owners. This new scholarship program allows us to do that."
Students can apply for the scholarship program directly on the company’s website (http://www.entirelypets.com/scholarship.html) via an online submission form. The only requirement to be eligible for the scholarship is to attend or be accepted to a university in the US. Essays must be submitted no later than midnight PST on March 15, 2014 and the winners will be announced on April 15.
The top three submissions will be selected to receive scholarships in the amounts of $1500, $1000, and $500 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. The full details of the application can be found at http://www.entirelypets.com/scholarship.html.
