Boston-Based Boost Software™ Goes to Poland for Software Update
Boston, MA (PRWEB) November 15, 2013 -- Boston-based software development company Boost Software™ is gearing up for the next edition of flagship product PC HealthBoost™, as announced last month of the report of its quarterly meeting. But ground-up rebuild that will constitute PC HealthBoost 3.0 didn't happen in Boston this time.
Instead, the development took place in Białystok, Poland, where most of Boost Software's development team now resides. Two of the software company's executive members flew to the facilities. It was their first time there, and their first time meeting the majority of the development crew.
“We're blown away by the whole team,” says Boost Software™ CEO and Co-founder Amit Mehta. Mehta is no stranger to high-tech engineering and coding—he is is a physics graduate who worked for MIT, then quit once he started making five figures a month making affiliate commissions online.
Mehta wasn't the only one who was impressed. Boost Software's™ Vice President of Business Development Brock Bourne, also along for the trip, was impressed as well.
“I was really impressed with the team that Mariusz Killian, Director of Operations, Boost Poland] has put together over there,” he said. “They've put together a new PC HealthBoost™ with extraordinarily clean code.”
Boost Poland was told to rebuild the popular PC optimization tool and registry cleaner from the ground up on a tight deadline.
“Work on PC HealthBoost™ 3.0 has been a real test for us as we had a very tight deadline, but we hit the deadline perfectly,” says Killian. “Also our alpha version turned out a beta version, rather, and it was done within 6 weeks.”
“They're making incredible improvements to our software,” says Mehta. “They are real self-starters—they come up with their own improvements to the software. They're a very enthusiastic, very self-motivated team.”
