CumuLogic Appoints Chip Childers as VP of Product Strategy

Childers is an active contributor, committer and Project Management Committee member for Apache CloudStack, and is currently serving as the VP of Apache CloudStack. He comes from SunGard Availability Services where he served as the Chief Architect for SunGard’s Enterprise Cloud Services product portfolio. Childers’ deep cloud architecture experience will be instrumental in furthering CumuLogic’s industry leadership, and driving product design and roadmap.
Chip brings a wealth of experience to CumuLogic that extends well beyond his ten years at SunGard and his experience with the Apache CloudStack project. Chip has been an architectural pioneer in the cloud space and over the past decade has built a cache of knowledge that rivals anyone in the cloud space. He also has several patents pending in the areas of infrastructure automation and orchestration system design. He’s also a sought after speaker on infrastructure and cloud topics and will be keynoting at the upcoming CloudStack Collaboration Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Thursday, November 21.
