Bitrix24 Reaches 100,000 Company Signups and Million User Milestone

Over 100,000 companies have signed up with Bitrix24, bringing the number of total users to over a million users, making it the most popular enterprise social networking and collaboration platform created specifically for small and even micro businesses and organizations.

A tool-centric approach and pricing policy helped Bitrix24 reach 100,000 companies and one million user milestones faster than any other ESN before, including Yammer.

"Unlike other ESN vendors who were busy creating 'corporate facebooks' and 'corporate twitters' for Fortune 500 clients, we decided to take a different approach, taking tools that most businesses use setting them into a social network. We are the only ESN on the market that comes with 35 separate business tools including CRM, Project Management, Document Management, Records Management, Time Management, Knowledge Management, HRIS, and video conferencing, because that's what our clients want to use for work – not Facebook," said Bitrix, Inc. President Dmitry Valyanov.

Launched in April 2012, a tool-centric approach and pricing policy helped Bitrix24 reach 100,000 companies and one million user milestones faster than any other ESN before, including Yammer. The Bitrix24 is 100% free to use in any organization that has 12 users or fewer, while paid plans come with unlimited intranet and extranet users, making it affordable to organizations of any size.

"This generation of the digital workforce is very comfortable with collaborative and social tools, but it creates 'Shadow IT' and 'Rogue App' problems when employees start using outside cloud services to store and work with company data without being authorized to do so, sometimes with dire consequences. This is why we let our clients host Bitrix24 and all the tools that come with it on their own servers, so that there are never data ownership or access issues," added Mr. Valyanov.

With the growing demand for small business friendly collaborative solutions worldwide, Bitrix24 is adding Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch localizations for the cloud service in the coming months, in addition to the four languages it already supports.
