VersaReports Releases ReportServer Version 2.3.1
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- VersaReports, a developer of enterprise reporting software products, announces the latest product release of its flagship product, ReportServer. ReportServer 2.3 allows businesses the flexibility to host reports created using a variety of Microsoft.NET reporting packages for more robust reporting options.
This expands ReportServer’s compatibility with a wide variety of existing customer infrastructures by adding a robust set of web services, allowing VersaReport’s customers to tightly integrate ReportServer with their existing applications. By using web services, customers can now run a report at the request of an external application, send completed reports to an external application, or modify any ReportServer information, like schedules or distribution lists. Also included in this release is the ability to suppress reports based on empty data sources, eliminating the annoyance of receiving a report without any meaningful information.
"Our ReportServer line is the first of its kind to offer compatibility with nearly any Microsoft.NET-based reporting product," said VersaReports President Andy Feibus. "With this release, we expanded our market-leading features by adding more features and more ways for our customers to incorporate a ReportServer into their existing environment. ReportServer is flexible to meet the needs of any company, it fits easily into most any existing infrastructure and customers benefit from significantly improved time and information management— it's truly a win/win for our customers."
The VersaReports ReportServer 2.3 product line consists of six options— including four lower-cost editions developed to integrate seamlessly with a specific reporting program and two, all-in-one, universal editions designed for more demanding report server needs. The product line includes:
• ReportServer/CR – supports SAP Crystal Reports
• ReportServer/XR – supports DevExpress XtraReports
• ReportServer/AR – supports GrapeCity ActiveReports
• ReportServer/TR – supports Telerik Reporting
• ReportServer/Universal Standard Edition – supports all of the above report designers plus compatibility with other report designers outside of those VersaReports directly supports
• ReportServer/Universal Enterprise Edition – supports all that Universal Standard Edition has to offer but is targeted to companies with larger reporting service needs.
"We've designed the products to maximize user-friendliness and flexibility," said Feibus. "ReportServer focuses on making it simple to schedule, produce, distribute and store reports, which ultimately improves efficiency and effectiveness for our customers."
VersaReports ReportServer 2.3.1 is competitively priced starting at $1,195. As part of the new release launch, all ReportServer editions will sell for $300 less than their respective list prices until April 30, 2014. For more information on VersaReports products, visit http://www.versareports.com.
