New Hampshire Log Cabin B&B Giving Away Christmas Tree Packages This Holiday Season
Bethlehem, NH (PRWEB) November 15, 2013 -- Snow is already falling in Bethlehem and the greatroom at Bear Mountain Lodge is warm and toasty by the crackling fireplace. To get ready for the holidays Innkeepers Michael & Carol Kerivan are giving couples who stay two nights from November 29th to December 22nd their first holiday present. "Every year we visit our favorite tree farm, Finnegan's Fine Firs, the day after Thanksgiving to pick out that special tree that will be the centerpiece of our greatroom for the holidays," stated Carol. "And every year couples from all over New England travel to The Lodge to visit local tree farms as part of an annual tradition. So this year we've decided to give back to our guests who have helped make us successful by giving everyone a trip to Finnegan's so they can decorate their home with a little piece of Bethlehem by choosing and cutting their own 6-8' Christmas tree." To make the weekend evey more enjoyable, Innkeeper Michael will be serving gingerbread each evening by the fireplace and each couple will receive Bear Mountain Lodge's 2013 holiday ornament to adorn their tree.
As the holidays wind down in the White Mountains, the winter fun kicks into full gear at Bear Mountain Lodge. Located just 15 minutes from Bretton Woods and Cannon Mountain it's an easy drive to these beautiful slopes to get some great skiing in. The Lodge has discount tickets for both mountains, and discounts their rooms from Sunday through Thursday by $25 so guests can take advantage of quieter slopes and midweek discounts. Check out all of Bear Mountain Lodge's winter specials.
And for those adventurous types, dogsledding and snowmobiling are located just a short drive from Bear Mountain Lodge. And Innkeeper Michael will again be offering evening guided snowshoe hikes where guests don headlamps and snowshoe through the beautiful property, followed by hot chocolate and smores by the fire.
