Roost Unveils Push Notification Plugin for Wordpress Blogs
Toledo, OH (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- Roost (http://www.roost.me) has released a Wordpress plugin that allows blogs to send push notifications to their readers whenever new content is published. The plugin is available in the Wordpress directory and at http://wordpress.org/plugins/roost-for-bloggers/.
With the Roost plugin, push notifications are automated as new posts are published. When readers open the push notification it leads them directly to the blog post.
In addition to the plugin, Roost provides analytics that measure reader engagement and a complete UI kit (roost.js) to help blogs recruit readers to receive push notifications about content updates.
Burton Miller, CEO of Notice Software, the company that created Roost, says, “When we developed Roost, it made sense to provide an easy-to-install push notification solution for independent writers. Mobile web browsing is increasing month over month. We wanted to help blogs better engage their mobile web traffic.”
