Magazines.com Names Treye Johnson as Director of CRM

Magazines.com recently added Treye Johnson, Director of CRM, to its marketing team. He brings more than a decade of experience in database marketing and platform design to the position.

As Director of CRM, Johnson is responsible for developing and executing a CRM strategy from initial purchase through the renewal process, as well as developing new database growth opportunities and supporting new product lines.

“Excellent customer service is about being aware of customer needs and reacting to them effectively,” Johnson said. “By advancing our CRM capabilities, it enables us to understand, anticipate and respond to our customers’ needs in a consistent way, across the company through many different channels.”

With the addition of a CRM Director, Scott Vogel, VP, Marketing, sees the potential for further personalizing the Magazines.com experience for its customers and Johnson’s experience especially as an asset in that process.

"It was important for us to find a visionary—a team member who could both develop and implement a strategy utilizing our internal subscription management platform to meet each customer's needs,” Vogel said. “Johnson definitely fits the bill."

Johnson previously worked with Acxiom Corporation for eight years in a variety of customer relationship positions before joining Magazines.com this year. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Johnson and his family currently reside in Nashville, TN.
