Riverside, CA (PRWEB) November 14, 2013
Casey Dutton, daughter of Dutton Motors General Manager Woody Dutton, and her friend James Stufkosky have once again decided to team up for the Walk to Stop Diabates in Riverside, CA on Nov. 16.
Casey was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes almost two years ago. November is also American Diabetes Month.
“While she is doing great, she would obviously be doing better with a cure,” said Woody Dutton. “While diabetes has not slowed Casey down – she plays water polo, swims, and serves on her school’s ASB – it’s not easy on her, although she never shows it.”
Each day, the Duttons read about advances in research, and genuinely believe that a cure is coming closer. They can’t wait for the day when Casey will no longer have to test her blood sugar six to eight times per day and take shots just to eat.
