iWeb Solutions, an Ecommerce Web Development & Design Agency in Stafford, is offering internship placements for a Web Developer and Web Designer. The year-long placements will give emerging young talent the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in a cutting edge, progressive web design company.

Since its inception in 1995, iWeb Solutions has been a firm believer in helping young people to develop the experience that will support their future career prospects. This remains a key value of the company and has been instrumental in helping them to provide cutting edge solutions for its small start-up and major corporate clients.

iWeb Solutions is accepting applications for the Web Designer and Web Developer internship placements until April 2014 and each applicant is asked to submit a CV and a link to their online portfolio. The closing date for applications is July 2014. The placements will follow a structured internship programme and provide practical experience of working in a fast-paced, competitive industry.

Nick Pinson, Managing Director at iWeb Solutions, said: “iWeb has a strong track record of providing exciting career opportunities, and this is another example of how we are helping emerging talent to get the opportunities they deserve. We launched back in 1995 and although we have evolved over that time, our approach and values remain the same. We see this as an opportunity to help us attract and retain the next generation of bright minds in web development, improving skills and supporting people with the passion to grow and develop.”

Andrew Frost, a current graduate staff member at iWeb Solutions, says about his time at the company: "My placement year at iWeb has been extraordinary. I've learnt so much in just a year, not only have I developed new skills but I have learned more about the real world application of my existing skills. I don't think I ever felt like a placement student during my time here. They trusted me to work on important projects and deal with clients right from the get go, something most companies aren't prepared to do.”

Other parties to praise the internship programme at iWeb Solutions include Alastair Dawes from the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Sciences at Staffordshire University, who said: “iWeb have been taking placement students and graduates from Staffordshire University for a number of years. Our students get a fantastic experience at iWeb, regularly working with household names on cutting edge client projects. They come back well prepared for their final year of study and ready for their futures.”

Nurturing emerging talent remains a key value at iWeb Solutions and will continue to be so for many years to come. It is hoped that the two internships will assist young people from Stafford and across the UK by giving them the crucial experience many employees are looking for when hiring. With over 18 years in the web design business, iWeb Solutions is a great place for emerging talent to enhance their career prospects.
