Ripley PR, a business-to-business (B2B) public relations agency, owned by Maryville, Tenn.-native Heather Ripley, has announced it has moved to a new location in downtown Maryville’s historic Preservation Plaza building located at 200 East Broadway Ave., Suite 515.

“Growing up in Maryville gave me a strong appreciation for the history and wonderful amenities this area provides,” said Ripley. “And I feel fortunate to be a part of the revitalization of our downtown community by locating my business in an area that will one day be the center of business and activity for locals and visitors alike.”

Maryville began its re-emergence as a viable downtown community in 1998 when the popular Ruby Tuesday restaurant chain moved its headquarters to the area. What was once an underutilized business district slowly began to grow into a vibrant community with new businesses, casual and elegant restaurants, cultural attractions and shopping.

As a PR executive in Sarasota, Florida, Ripley was involved in several joint ventures by local businesses and groups to help create a more vibrant downtown area that attracted tourists, snowbirds and local residents to visit its restaurants, shops, movie theatres and cultural venues to much success. Locally, Ripley is a board member of the Keep Blount Beautiful organization and is on the board of the Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation.
