Kansas City Club welcomes President and CEO of Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Jane Chu as Kansas City Conversations featured speaker
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- President and CEO of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Jane Chu is this month’s Kansas City Conversations featured speaker at the Kansas City Club on Dec. 12.
Jane Chu is the president and CEO for the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, home to the Kansas City Ballet, Kansas City Symphony, and Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Since its grand opening in Sept. 2011, more than 750,000 people have attended an event at the center.
Jane holds bachelors and masters degrees in piano performance, music education and piano pedagogy from Ouachita Baptist University and Southern Methodist University, respectively. Jane also holds a master of business administration from Rockhurst University,
a PhD in philanthropic studies at Indiana University and an Honorary Doctorate (Honoris causa) in music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance.
