Decades of research in countless studies show significant cognitive advantages to being multilingual, In Harvelene Sanderson’s new children’s picture book, she teaches children how to say hello in eight different languages.

“Hello, Jesus Loves You” illustrates children from different ethnic backgrounds, shares ways to say hello in Spanish, Chinese, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Hawaiian, and each page carries the important message that all children are loved by Jesus.

About the author
Harvelene Sanderson resides in Maxton, North Carolina, where she lives in the house she grew up in. She enjoys gardening, writing and attending service at the local Methodist church. Sanderson was a kindergarten teacher for more than 30 years after receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
