The Charleston Santa Monica Introduces Comedy Sundays With "Amateur My Ass" Comedy
Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) November 16, 2013 -- The Charleston, Santa Monica’s premier 1920’s style gastropub, is serving up some laughs every Sunday night with Comedy Sundays, the newest installment in their fall lineup. Comedy Sundays will feature "Amateur My Ass" Comedy (AMA), a troupe consisting of comics that can be seen places such as Chelsea Lately on E!, Comedy Central's @Midnight and Adam Devine's House Party.
AMA Comedy will be performing routines from their weekly showcase, always keeping the audience and fellow troupe members on their toes. In between the bouts of laughter echoing through the room, audience members will hear live music accompanying the comedic performance. The live tunes will get onlookers prepared for the evening’s later festivities, a Karaoke Jam. After they are all laughed out, attendees can sing off their Sunday like it is going out of style.
The Charleston's Sunday Night Karaoke Jam is not a typical karaoke evening. It is a higher end option to other traditional karaoke centric venues where karaoke goers can get discovered and win the opportunity to be invited back for solo performances at the Charleston. It could help discover this generation’s Ella Fitzgerald!
And thanks to The Charleston’s new partnership with Uber, everyone’s private driver, the deal gets even sweeter. First time riders will receive a complimentary ride to or from The Charleston up to $20, so no need to worry about over indulging.
The laughter starts every Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. with Karaoke kicking off at 9:30 p.m. Dinner reservations are recommended via Opentable at http://www.charlestonla.com or by calling (310) 828-2115.
The Charleston is located at:
