SBTDC Business Owners’ Coaching Event to Focus on Marketing and Sales
Frederick, MD (PRWEB) November 14, 2013 -- The Frederick office of the Maryland SBTDC has announced that the first in its new series of topical coaching events for local small business owners will focus on marketing and sales planning. The full educational series will be rolled out over several months and cover a variety of topics, but all are developed to educate owners how to gain more time and money from their business.
The first session, Mastering Revenue Growth, is a 4-hour program has been specifically designed for businesses that have been in business and operational for multiple years. “Each participating business owner will develop an aggressive marketing/sales plan that can be implemented with little or no investment. This is a group coaching program that will bridge the gap between frustration and a fruit-bearing business,” explained Russell C. Teter III, Director of Training SBTDC at University of Maryland, who will facilitate this initial session. Teter has worked with thousands of business owners and is an internationally certified executive coach and facilitator. Business owners will develop their plan alongside SBTDC Strategic Growth Consultants, including Beth A Woodring Senior Consultant at the Frederick SBTDC.
Mastering Revenue Growth is the first in a series of coaching sessions open to Frederick County business owners through the SBTDC and in conjunction with the Frederick County Business Development Department and the Frederick Innovative Technology Center.
