Local San Diego Plumber Uses Social Media to Raise Money for Charity

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, the Bill Howe Family of Companies reserved two weeks of ads on their business Facebook page to donate to raise awareness of breast cancer and to raise funds to donate. They did not call for others to donate, but simply to “like” their page. For every like, they would donate $1 to the American Cancer Society.
Starting on October 15 and going through November 1, the Bill Howe companies received 259 new page likes and are sending in a check for $259 to the ACA.
