Solar Communications becomes No.1 non-US ShoreTel partner
(PRWEB UK) 15 November 2013 -- Solar Communications, the Chippenham-based company which also has offices in London and Manchester, has been included in ShoreTel's Circle of Excellence for the last four years in a row and has now been awarded the title of Top International Partner in the Circle of Excellence.
"This is an amazing achievement and is the result of a lot of very hard work from everyone in Chippenham, London and Manchester and we thank our loyal clients whose commitment to us has given us this chance to outperform," said Chief Executive Mark Colquhoun.
Solar earned the position of Top International ShoreTel Partner after growing by an impressive 20% over the past year. It purchased more ShoreTel products than any other international partner, and achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 75%. Net Promoter Scores are widely used in the industry as a key indicator of success, and any firm scoring above 50% is considered to be a World Class company.
ShoreTel is a global leader in unified communications technology and was selected by Solar Communications as a partner after proving itself to be consistently at the cutting edge of the industry. In the last year alone, ShoreTel has become the technical partner to F1 engineering giants Williams, as well as the first Unified Communications company in the world to invent an iPad and iPhone docking station that transforms Apple's devices into multi-featured desk phones.
"Solar Communications has only got where it is today by providing the best solutions and service in advanced unified communications technology to our clients," Mark Colquhoun said.
"Our customers have come to expect nothing less than the best technology and service from Solar, and we work hard to deliver new and innovative integrated communications designs for complex business setups so that our clients can take advantage of the best technology on the market to improve their productivity," he added.
"These are the reasons we work so closely with ShoreTel, which itself was one of the few unified communications firms to see its market share grow in 2012," Colquhoun explained.
Solar Communications are no strangers to receiving such high accolades, having recently won the ShoreTel Outstanding Customer Service award for the fifth consecutive year, based on a very high rate of customers saying they were satisfied with their experience and would recommend Solar to friends and colleagues.
Other awards earned by the firm include the European Partner of the Year Award, of which Solar was a repeat winner, and which is given to companies that show outstanding commercial, engineering, installation and support skills. Last year Solar also jumped 37 places in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table to rank at number 50.
