Digital Sports Group today announce that the PFA Facebook page for Netherlands and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has seen huge growth in term of 'likes' and fan interaction after scoring the winner in Manchester United's Premier League clash with Arsenal. Van Persie kick-started his new campaign by scoring both of Manchester United's goals in their 2–0 win against Wigan Athletic in the Community Shield, securing David Moyes' first honour as club manager.
On 17 August 2013, Van Persie scored his first Premier League goal of the season with an acrobatic volley in United's 4–1 win at Swansea City and has since gone on to score 10 goals in 14 games including the winner against his former team Arsenal at Old Trafford.
