Home sales throughout Wake County, N.C. continue to improve, according to the October Wake County MLS report. The master-planned community of Heritage is experiencing similar growth – outpacing the market with record sales. When compared to the October Wake County MLS, Heritage list to sale price beat the market average by nearly 5%, consistently averaging 100% for the year. Average sales price for the new home community remains high at almost $100,000 more than market trend.

Other indicators that the community is one of the top-selling in Wake County includes year-to-date average monthly sales of $8 million and the recent close of the best October on record with 22 homes.

“We have inventory and it’s selling,” says Andy Ammons, president of Ammons Development Group, Heritage developer. “We anticipate this to continue through the end of the year and hope to see the same trends for the rest of the market. This is such a shift from where we were just a few years ago. It’s an exciting time in Wake County real estate.”
