"Leading Edge" with Jimmy Johnson Outlines At-Home Physical Therapy
(PRWEB) November 18, 2013 -- Physical therapy is used around the country in order to help people relieve pain and improve mobility. While many people are required to go into centers for physical therapy, the at-home regimen is in higher demand than ever before. Not everyone has the time or money to see a physical therapist.
Jimmy Johnson, host of the Leading Edge series, hosts new segments that outline some of the at-home physical therapy benefits. The production team speaks to leading medical professionals to learn what people can do in order to enjoy pain relief and increase their mobility without having to leave the home. Doctors show Americans what can be done without ever leaving the house.
Physical therapy is different for everyone. Some people deal with chronic pain while others have pain related to a specific injury or accident. As a result, at-home physical therapy needs to start by talking with a doctor in order to outline what can and cannot be done. Proper technique is key to avoiding further injury.
Jimmy Johnson, who is also an ex-NFL football coach, serves as host to segments that ask questions that many Americans want to know. This allows more people to learn about what at-home physical therapy is and how they are able to take advantage of it.
Johnson covers an array of topics with the Leading Edge. He goes on the scene to provide information about education, politics, the environment and much more on a regular basis to provide public service announcements.
The Leading Edge Series is sent to Public Television stations around the U.S. and is not associated with PBS. Please visit the series website at http://www.leadingedgeseries.com or email the producers for more details at info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com.
