Innovation Center Supports & Congratulates DNS Design’s Successful Capital Campaign Launch on KickStarter.com
Fort Wayne, IN (PRWEB) November 16, 2013 -- The Northeast Indiana Innovation Center today congratulated DNS Design Company, LLC for its successful capital campaign launch on the renowned crowdfunding site, Kickerstarter.com. DNS aims to raise $5,000 or more in seed capital for its flagship video game “TrioMancer,” an adventure of three apprentice wizards on a quest to save their masters. The campaign launched at 4:00 p.m. EST and was immediately received by investors and supporters from around the country with contributions ranging from $1 to $20 and more.

“This is twice as exciting for the NIIC,” said Mike Fritsch, Entrepreneur in Residence and business coach to the team of ITT Tech students that comprise DNS. “Businesses launch all the time at the NIIC and they often need to raise money but it’s especially gratifying to help these young people launch into a booming industry like video gaming. More people like these young men and women are recognizing the many advantages of their own hometown over moving to the east or west coasts. That’s a big vote for Indiana, and we believe this sends an important message to entrepreneurs everywhere.”
“We’re excited to launch our business and this game at the NIIC,” said Lindal Walker, President of DNS Design. “We’re designing games, but when it comes to launching and running a successful business, we’re not playing around. Mike Fritsch and Karl Lapan and the whole crew here at the Innovation Center have been so supportive as we grow step by step, milestone by milestone. We are excited about the next 30 days and beyond.”
The KickStarter campaign runs from November 15th to December 15th and is setup in an “all or none” fashion, meaning that TrioMancer needs to raise its minimum goal of $5,000 or it will not receive any funding. None of the DNS team will be paid at this level of funding, but the DNS team will be able to pay for some basic start up legal and creative expenses to make the game possible.
