Carian College Advisors, the UAE's leading independent educational consultancy focusing exclusively on US Admissions, recently signed Memoranda of Understanding with the American College of Dubai and with Go Pro Sports. Carian College Advisors formed their partnerships in order to promote the common goal of all three organizations: advancing American Higher Education in the UAE.

“We believe an American education is the best preparation students can have for their future careers and live,” said Peter Davos, the Managing Director for Carian College Advisors. “By partnering with American College of Dubai and Go Pro Sports, we both are able double our efforts in assisting students with reaching their educational and personal goals.”

American College of Dubai provides a quality and affordable education that enables students to immerse themselves in a US-style higher educational system. Specifically, its programs include the broad-based General Education Requirements characteristic of the US educational system. Transfer-oriented students completing these initial requirements are assisted in transferring their “credits” toward the completion of a degree at universities in the USA and other countries.

The partnership between Carian and American College of Dubai is a perfect fit. Carian College Advisors assists students seeking to apply for undergraduate, graduate, and transfer admission to American universities. Their educational consultants work strategically with applicants on each aspect of their applications, which makes the process much more manageable and successful for students and their parents.

Joint activities between Carian College Advisors and the American College of Dubai are already underway. Carian College Advisors will be holding a free informative presentation about US universities and the undergraduate application process at 8 a.m. on December 7th at the American College of Dubai campus in Garhoud.

Go Pro Sports is a football academy that is open to all age groups and abilities, and both boys and girls can attend. Coaches work to improve all aspects of their athletes’ game, as many of their students aspire to go on to become either a professional footballer or a player for an American university team.

“Many athletes want to play competitively at American universities,” said Peter Davos, the Managing Director for Carian College Advisors. “By partnering with Go Pro Sports, we are able to help these students properly apply.”

The director of Go Pro Sports, Kirk Hilton, spent many years as a professional footballer. Kirk began his career in the Manchester United youth program, where he was recruited as an 8 year old and had the honor of going all the way through the coveted Manchester United program under the watchful eye of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. From there Kirk played for clubs such as Blackpool, Livingston and Royal Antwerp – Manchester United’s Belgium-based feeder side, which was his last club in 2007-08 season.

The partnership between Carian College Advisors and Go Pro Sports is a natural one, as Carian College Advisors are able to help American-bound athletes understand the collegiate athletic recruitment process and to complete the necessary registration with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
