"This version of TrueConf Terminal allows users to integrate meeting rooms and conference halls of any size into the corporate video conferencing system," says Mikhail Gotalsky, TrueConf CEO.

The new TrueConf Terminal firmware release, TrueConf Terminal 1.3.0, now has added support for Full HD video conferencing and PTZ camera control.
Along with the new firmware release, two new hardware configurations have been introduced to meet the needs of larger conferencing rooms. In addition to the webcam they originally received with TrueConf Terminal, existing customers now can choose either an SD or Full HD PTZ camera. All future installations will also include a new 10” capacitive touch screen, which replaces the 8” resistive panel used previously.
Other firmware changes include an improved touch panel interface and widescreen 16:9 layout support. Users can now make calls to mobile and landline phones directly from the TrueConf Terminal. The default aspect ratio for video conferencing layouts was increased from 4:3 to a more modern 16:9, as with all other TrueConf applications. These new changes allow users to experience high-quality video and clear sound during group video conferencing sessions in any conference room configuration.
TrueConf continues their BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) rollout with the new release of TrueConf Terminal 1.3.0, which is fully compatible with all other TrueConf video conferencing solutions. The updates make it easy for users to integrate new hardware and software into an enterprises' network and their other TrueConf products. All users can tune in online using any device, regardless of their location.
"This version of TrueConf Terminal allows users to integrate meeting rooms and conference halls of any size into the corporate video conferencing system. Thanks to the integration with PTZ camera control systems, focus on the speaker can be applied automatically, so no one will be unnoticed during the meeting. The touch panel, combined with an intuitive interface, will allow any participant to take control over a video conferencing session without the need to involve technicians," says Mikhail Gotalsky, TrueConf CEO. “This means that TrueConf offers a set of simple cross-platform solutions for high-quality video communications for all of our users and their devices."
Existing TrueConf Terminal customers will automatically receive the firmware update.
